1. Operator and scope

By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms and any applicable terms of the store and operating system from which you obtained it. If you do not agree, you may choose not to install or use the app.

For the iOS app, Apple’s standard end user license agreement also applies unless a separate custom agreement is submitted through App Store Connect. This document is not a custom EULA and does not replace Apple’s standard agreement.

2. Service

UmgiTab is a custom system keyboard for iPhone and Android. It currently provides Korean Dubeolsik and Cheonjiin, English QWERTY and 9-key layouts, layout switching, and left- or right-handed positioning.

The app is currently free and has no account, payment, subscription, cloud sync, user-posted content, advertising, analytics, or remote AI feature. Core typing works on the device without a product server or network connection.

3. License

Subject to these Terms and applicable store terms, newfrom Corp grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on supported devices that you own or control for personal and lawful purposes. No ownership or intellectual property rights are transferred to you.

4. Restrictions

You must not:

• use the app in violation of law, these Terms, or third-party rights;
• damage the security or stability of the app or another device or service, or distribute malicious functionality;
• sell, rent, or redistribute the app without authorization, or remove rights notices; or
• copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to do so beyond what applicable law expressly permits.

This section does not limit rights that applicable law grants and does not allow to be restricted by contract.

5. Platform limitations

Features and presentation may vary by operating system version, device, input field, and host-app policy. iOS may switch to the system keyboard in secure fields and phone pads, and a host app may block custom keyboards. UmgiTab does not attempt to bypass those platform restrictions.

You must enable or select the keyboard in system settings. Operating system updates may change these steps or behavior. See Support for the current supported scope and known limitations.

6. Intellectual property

Rights in the app, site, design, documentation, and related marks belong to newfrom Corp or their respective lawful owners. Separate licenses govern any open-source components.

7. Changes and termination

We may update the app or change features for security, reliability, operating system compatibility, or product improvement. If we materially change these Terms, we will post the changes and effective date on this page before they take effect.

We may discontinue the service for reasonable operational reasons and will provide advance notice where practicable. You may stop using the service at any time by deleting the app.

8. Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided as available, and we do not promise error-free or uninterrupted operation in every device, app, or input environment. Unless caused by our intent or gross negligence, newfrom Corp is responsible for unforeseeable indirect or special losses only to the extent required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights or our obligations under mandatory consumer protection or other applicable law.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We will first try to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion. Unresolved disputes will be handled by a court with jurisdiction under applicable Korean procedural law. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights under the law of your residence continue to apply.
